At one point, the 9th graders of ICS had to create the pictures you see above. The paper was meticulously divided into 16 separate pieces. Each section was carefully drawn like the original picture with extremely light pencil marks. Afterwards, every other block was masterfully shaded with ink while the others were colored with colored pencils. The results showed great skill and determination among the students because they had only a week or so to finish this project! Many students even took the time to finish these in their precious, spare moment after school. Although not all of the works were able to be taken on picture, we can be sure that each and every one of these was another great piece of art.

ART EXAM
The 9th grade and preAP art students had an "edible" final last thursday. Well, edible is not exactly the right word. The more correct phrase would be "disgusting beyond belief yet strangely cool." As you can see, we were to make food sculptures out of the ingredients provided by Ms. Gorman. The food you see was actually the cheapest she could find, and therefore quite nasty. Can you tell what these things are?
ICS Art!
With Ms. Gorman's prompting and Yohan's camera, this blog was made possible! I was charged with making a blog for the Art class at ICS so there you go. We shall display the fabulous displays of art I believe deserves to be seen. I just hope your computer isn't overwhemed with all the pictures and starts to seriously lag.
The credit all goes to Ms. Gorman for starting this, Yohan for lending his camera (camcorder), and all of YOU who contributed to this site through your art work. Enjoy!
